Magic Bullet Suite Shaves $65,000 Off Ad Agency’s Costs

San Francisco, CA, November 12, 2003 – Red Giant Software today announced that Skyline Media Group is the latest advertising agency to realize significant cost savings, while improving production quality, with Magic Bullet Suite. Skyline Media added Magic Bullet Suite, the award-winning visual effects software, to its production tool set earlier this year. The firm has produced 19 original ads shot in NTSC on a Canon XL-1S, delivering digital video with 16mm film quality that has helped differentiate Skyline Media both in its marketplace and among its clients.

Skyline Media says that client satisfaction is just one of the benefits of using Magic Bullet Suite. The company also estimates that its $995 investment in the software has saved more than $65,000 in production costs to date.

Skyline Media was looking for an alternative way to produce high quality television spots to help cut through its regional market’s advertising clutter. With a client list that ranges from automobile dealerships to political candidates, the solution also had to be versatile and meet the agency’s demand to deliver “exceptional production value.”

“Magic Bullet Suite is an integral part of our workflow. We have used the software on 85% of our spots this year, and have not only raised the bar on our production quality, but lowered costs by 50% or more compared to film,” said Jeremy Fuksa, Motion Graphic Artist at Skyline Media Group.

Pricing and Availability

Magic Bullet Suite consists of a set of five Adobe After Effects plug-ins that take original, high-quality digital video and converts it to 24 frames per second. The process reduces many of the artifacts present in digital video footage. The software, which works on both Macintosh and Windows platforms, has been used on numerous productions selected for prestigious international film festivals.

The software comes in two versions: Magic Bullet Suite Standard Definition (SD) for $995 USD, supporting NTSC and PAL video solutions and Magic Bullet Suite High Definition (HD) for $1,995 USD which has no resolution limit.
