Red Giant Software Offers New Professional Tools for Video and Film Content Creators

San Francisco, CA, March 7, 2003 – Red Giant Software today announced that it has become the exclusive publisher for Primatte Keyer, Composite Wizard, and Image Lounge for Mac OS 9/X and Windows 2000/XP. These After Effects plug-ins are a unique set of video tools targeted at editors, effects artists, and film professionals. Red Giant software also sells the award-winning Magic Bullet Suite and Knoll Light Factory.

Primatte Keyer enables artists to extract keys from any color background for compositing. Users can select foreground/background areas of an image and selectively reduce edge spill and transparency problems—all directly in the After Effects composite window.

Composite Wizard speeds up workflow and offers advanced tools to help artists build realistic effects shots. Tattered edges, poor matte extractions, improper focal depth cues, or unbalanced color schemes are common compositing problems. Composite Wizard automates color correction effects, blurs borders, and cleans up unwanted artifacts.

Image Lounge offers a wide array of style tools and image filters for infusing images, text, or backgrounds with graphic effects. With over 20 plug-ins, Image Lounge features a variety of stylistic plug-ins that are useful for differentiating After Effects design work.

Full Versions:

• Primatte Keyer is available on a cross-platform CD for $495 USD. Composite Wizard and Image Lounge are available on a cross-platform CD for $295 USD each. Either product may be downloaded from www.redgiantsoftware.com for only $245 USD.
• The complete package of plug-ins including Primatte Keyer, Composite Wizard and Image Lounge on a cross-platform CD can be purchased for $995 USD.

Upgrades:

• Primatte Keyer 1.5 is available to users of earlier versions on CD for $149 USD, or as a download for $99 USD.
• Existing Mac OS X users of Composite Wizard and Image Lounge can download an update for $30 USD each.
